HOPE MESSAGE OF THE DAY

Do you want to know a secret? I still get tripped up by life! At first I was really hard on myself when I was having a bad day! I would wrongly tell myself that if I was truly a good Christian, off days would not bother me. That having a bad day was my fault and I should either pretend I wasn’t or I should count my blessings because it could be worse. However, looking at the Bible, there are countless stories of God’s people having bad days or even seasons. Jonah, Daniel, Job and the list goes on! And yet, they were chosen by God! Jesus tells us that we will indeed have troubles in this world, but the Bible also says He has “overcome the world.” That, my friends, is the best news ever! Let’s apply this to real life…

ORGANIZATIONAL TIP OF THE DAY

Even when we love Jesus and are on fire to spread His love, sometimes we have bad days! Fact of life! It’s okay! All we need to do is ask for help from the Father who loves us! It is a gift Jesus gave us by dying on the cross sacrificing his own life for ours. So, first, when you have an off day, give yourself a little grace to be human! Second, stop where you are at and ask Jesus for help, to feel His love, His joy! For you see, God states very clearly in John 16:24 “Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” So…just…ask Him!
