Forgiving is Hard

Let God, Let Go, Let’s Go!

My daily quote which makes me joyful, peaceful, and free!

BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

HOPE MESSAGE OF THE DAY

Watching your child hurt or anyone you love is not only painful, but an emotional roller coaster of emotions. Learning and choosing to forgive others is probably one of the hardest tasks God asks of His children. I know in my heart that I need to let go and forgive others. But I didn’t know how to release the pain, until God taught me that I simply could not forgive on my own. He could, however, provide me the strength, love, and foundation to change me to do His will. His love for me opened up a flood gate of grace inside my heart that I certainly did not possess on my own. Even though the circumstances had not changed, my soul matured and the healing process began.

ORGANIZATIONAL TIP OF THE DAY

Do you need to forgive someone who has hurt you or your family? Start here. Ask God to fill you with his Holy Spirit, to show you how to let go, to give you permission to, knowing that we are incapable of doing this on our own. Sometimes this is a daily process for me, but I find such comfort in knowing God is willing to take these burdens from me and grant me peace.

Please note that we may need to seek professional help from a therapist or minister to heal past wounds as they can provide tools to let go with safe boundaries especially in past traumas and scars.
