My daily quote which makes me joyful, peaceful, and free!
BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY
“Be still and know I am God.” Psalm 46:10
HOPE MESSAGE OF THE DAY
Be Still. No really….sit down and be still. As this busy holiday season rolls on in whether we are ready or not, this is the absolute best time to stop, listen, and observe. Look around you. What do you see that makes you happy? The Christmas tree with sparkling lights? The warmth of a cozy house? Kids home from college? Christmas music playing in the background? Whatever it is….soak it in! And thank God for all the good in your life. When we are still, we have the opportunity to hear God’s voice, to appreciate the beauty of His world, and to let His love fill our cup till it overflows!
ORGANIZATIONAL TIP OF THE DAY
As we get ready for the New Year, it is a magical time to assess your life! Take inventory! Are there areas of your life that need attention? For planning purposes, I usually divide my life into the following categories trying to give each the time and love they need including (1) Physical and Mental Health (2) Family (3) Finances (4) Environment (5) Spiritually and (6) Hobbies/Recreation (and not in any specific order). Take the time to sit with God and reflect. Write down any thoughts in your notebook. Dream. Plan. And most importantly, be still and ask to hear God’s voice to ascertain His will for your life!
