HOPE MESSAGE OF THE DAY

After my father passed away, my mom gave me a file of Dad's handwritten notes he had gathered as he prepared to write a speech years ago. I was absolutely fascinated with one entry in particular. Dad must have been writing a speech about the greatest things in life as he spelled out in detail man's greatest need as happiness, man's greatest mistake as giving up, and man's greatest sin as fear. But what profoundly stood out to me was one little line all by itself that threw a powerful punch deep into my heart. And that simple line read - MAN'S GREATEST THOUGHT - GOD. That was it - no further explanation, but four words that have made me think, pray, ponder, and grow in my faith. We will explore this idea over the next several days, but today I challenge you to this question…how would your day be different if your greatest thought was indeed all about God?!

I love to organize my house but I have realized that sometimes my brain space also needs a good cleaning! What do you think about during the day? Have you listened to your self talk lately? Make sure you take a good look at what you are telling yourself as that silent little voice has a profound impact on your daily life. You deserve to listen to God’s voice inside your head as He is indeed your greatest thought!
