HOPE MESSAGE OF THE DAY
One of the most influential people in my life is Dr. Shane Krukow from Iowa Falls Chiropractic Clinic. He has provided me with invaluable tools on how to live physically, mentally, and spiritually in alignment with God’s values. One of the greatest gifts he taught me was the practice of Christian-based meditation. With a history of anxiety disorders since the age of ten, meditation has allowed me to face my mental health challenges with God by my side. When I say meditation has been life-altering, I sincerely mean each word. Meditation gives my body, mind and soul the opportunity to slow down, be still, and listen for God’s voice. The Psalms in particular are full of Bible verses encouraging us to meditate on God’s word, His love, His promises, and His works. Don’t just take my word for it, read the Bible and I encourage you to give meditation a try!
ORGANIZATIONAL TIP OF THE DAY
No one is too busy to set aside just five minutes to sit with God! I get it - you may have no alone time! But time with God, whether you call it prayer or meditation, is absolutely essential to your daily living! So start making it a habit every day to carve out time with God. Find a spot in your house where you can relax, be quiet, and talk to God. I had one client who turned an old closet into the most adorable prayer nook with a comfy chair and a side table that held her special cup for her morning coffee with God! A little lamp and the mood was set for my diligent and creative prayer warrior! Like my client, find your prayer closet today!!
