Notebook Homework!

Good morning and again welcome to my passion project - Daily Motivation on our Rounded Journey of Full Circle Faith! As my book Let God, Let Go, and Let’s Go launches, I invite you to join me each weekday morning as we praise God by starting our day with joy, hope, gratitude and just a little bit of retail therapy!!

So let’s begin!

BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

1 Peter 4:10 states “as each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

HOPE MESSAGE OF THE DAY

Hey! You got a notebook handy? I have an exercise I want you to do right now. Find a quiet spot. Grab a cup of coffee. Put that favorite pen in your hand. Without pause and without a lot of thought, write down 5 things you love to do. Ready, set, go…..

FIVE THINGS I LOVE TO DO….

1._________________________________________________

2._________________________________________________

3._________________________________________________

4._________________________________________________

5._________________________________________________

Now, for each thing you love to do, write down one way you could use that love of yours to help someone else! Here is an example, I love to give gifts. So, one thing I love to do is give small gifts to unexpected recipients in hopes of making them feel special! It is so much fun!! Or, I love to read the Bible in a year! So, combining both of these loves, I hand out Bibles as often I can to anyone interested in reading. Before Let God, Let Go, and Let’s Go, I knew I enjoyed giving gifts especially Bibles, but I took for granted the importance of using my gifts to share the love of God with others. Once Let God, Let Go, and Let’s Go formed, I knew that using my gifts from God to love others and reflect God’s love to them through my actions was not insignificant at all, but rather it was God’s definition of success for my life. Can I even begin to explain how life altering that simple concept was for me? And it can be for you too!!

ORGANIZATIONAL TIP OF THE DAY

To be able to spend time with God, it is necessary to stay organized! As a professional organizer, I love finding ways to save time and boost productivity. So here is one organizational tip from my book Let God, Let Go, and Let’s Go I want to share with you today! Buy a large basket and set it by your main door. If you have packages to return, letters to mail, or gifts to deliver, put them in the basket. Then when you leave, take the basket and all of your errands will be conveniently waiting for you while in the car. Also, add in free reading because we all wait in lines. How handy to get some of your reading finished while waiting for your habitually late daughter casually stroll out of soccer practice twenty minutes late every day still chatting with friends. Sorry, Addy, my middle daughter, I just sold you out!!

BLESSED BUYS AND FAITHFUL FINDS - RETAIL THERAPY OF THE DAY

As a Christian life coach and professional organizer, I love trying to help people enjoy life without all the hassle of living in constant chaos. Plus a little retail therapy (I used to own a boutique so I know all about retail therapy) just makes the day that much brighter!
